I recently went to a high school reunion and met up with Margie and Norma, whom I haven't seen in over 30 years. I asked them about Frankie and was very saddened to find out he had passed away. He was a great guy and I will miss him. Whenever I would see him in the neighborhood he would always stop what he was doing and come over to say hello and talk to me. He always took the time to stop and shake my hand, always smiling, he never seemed to let anything bother him. He enjoyed life. He would always ask me when was I going riding with him. Get a bike he told me. My answer was always "someday I will see you on the road and we will ride". I did get a bike a few years ago and always meant to go to the old neighborhood (OZ) to find Frankie. I wish I had done it sooner. I wanted to finally ride with him, to let him know I finally got a bike. In his memory, I am going to take a ride through OZ, down Liberty Ave. where I used to bump into him frequently. I know his spirit will be there to see me. This rides for you Frankie.

Roe,

What a beautiful site you made. Not seeing Frank since 8th grade, and seeing him through the years was wonderful. God bless Frank and God bless the family. My deepest sympathies.

Firstly I want to send my condolences to the entire family. I went to Nativity with Maria, Frank was in my brother Dom's class. The Web site was shown to me by my husband Dean who is also a Nativity Alumni. The pictures and the memories you have shared are truly beautiful. I am truly sorry for your loss and pray that Frank is in a much better place.
Regards,
Ivana

Roe, Although I mostly knew Frankie while going to Nativity as your big brother, it was obvious that the two of you had a close relationship and were great friends. I only have very fond memories of Frankie and of the two of you together. This memorial website is a beautiful tribute to both of you. I can easily see that to know Frankie was to love him, and that those of us that didn't know him well truly missed out. My husband never met Frankie, but from viewing the site he at least got to know that Frankie really loved those sunglasses:) With Love, Jill & Zoran

Thank you for sharing your brother with us.

What a wonderful and very memorable site you have created. I can't believe after all these years you live on my sisters block and our kids are in the same class. It's unbelievable. I only wish I would have taken the time when I first saw you again to get in contact with Frankie. He was a big part of my early teenage years. We did alot of crazy things (like cutting school and hanging out in the cemetary by your house), but no matter what, he always made you laugh. He was a great friend and someone I looked up to as a big brother. You as well, were always a great friend. Hey, remember when "I ran away" (thanks for harboring me, ha-ha). I am so so sorry for your loss. Just know he will always be in your heart and mind, and no one will ever be able to take that away. Always remember the good times and that Frankie is ALWAYS SMILING DOWN ON YOU. May God Bless you and you whole family. Rest in Peace Frank.
